what does the rest of your diet look like?

a protein shake is not a meal. You should add some healthy carbs (if it's following your work-out) or some good fats (if it's NOT following your work-out)

A protein shake no, but a meal replacement shake yes. These usually contain a lot of protein anyway, but there is a difference.

Thats the thing.. im not on a diet. @_@ I have no idea what i should eat, what not to eat.. o__o i love my food.. ((im actually really thin, other than my belly. ))

Everyone's on a diet. Your diet is what you eat. Better to make your diet part of a healthy lifestyle than do what lots of morons do and eat healthy only when they need to lose weight.

well said.

I find most people fear the word "diet" because they associate it with weight loss

lets use the word (or words) meal plan, make it healthy, small meals every 3 to 4 hours and your set.

cardio helps allot too, but it worthless with out a "meal plan"

Its Met-Rx Total Nutrition Drink

Nutrition Facts :

So it does have a lot of protein in it, And i usually only Mix 1 1/2 scoops instead of the 3 suggested. I really dont need that much. I have been having a shake and maybe some veggies, like a real small stir fry with some broccoli, peppers, onions. Or ill have the shake with a fat free yogurt or even some cottage cheese. I dont wanna be taking in to much calories since I am trying to lose some weight.

As long as you're having something with the 1.5 scoops, because 1.5 scoops only has 130 calories and 9 grams cho - not enough for a whole meal.

alright, good enough. Is that shake a good enough source of protein for a post workout shake? Again I am only taking 1.5 scoops usually with water.
