Hello!
Thank you for looking at my journal!
October 16,2006
Today,I start my journal.
I think that my journal will help me keep track of how I am losing weight over time.
However,I get frustrated at times about my weight. I feel like no matter how hard I try,
I can never lose weight.
So far,I have tried these workout books/exersices:
The Firm: I lost 10 pounds and gained alot of muscle in two months. I gave up feeling that I wasn't getting anywhere.
Micheal Thurmond's Six week body makeover: I had alot of trouble making the book, and got confused.
Billy's Bootcamp: I have the videos, but it's hard for me to keep up. I am physically capable of doing it,but i loose intrest with things quickly.
____
Like I said,I have trouble keeping one thing. I think I loose intrest in things quickly.
It's hard for me to stay with one thing. Maybe I should try hiking or rock climbing.
I like running, but I never find time for it.
I have a dog but I only take him down the street. He is a little miniature schnauzer.
Or maybe I should have a companion. I'll have to experiment. You can never say you've failed unless you try.
I think even the whole weight loss attempts have givin me good morals to live by.
some of them are:
"people only know what you show them"
"you can never say you've failed unless you've tried"
"no food tastes as good as being healthy feels"
Things like that.
I think I'm more of a couch potato.
I love to cook. So maybe I could find some healthy cooking classes.Or maybe enroll in pilates or yoga.Maybe I will try having a salad with nuts and apples tommorow.
Suprisingly enough,I think I am one of those people who don't like fast food.
It just doesn't appeal to me. I also do not care for meat. Only fish.
When I was younger,I used to eat fast food everyday.
It usually was (mcdonalds):
Mcflurry
Cheese burger
Frenchfries
____
Now,I think it is gross.I like to know where my food comes from. I like to sit down and enjoy it.
I have been trying to eat a dinner like meal for lunch so I can digest my food for the rest of the day. Then have lunch for dinner. As odd as that sounds to us, to people in the UK or Europe,I'm pretty sure that's what they do.I don't even like potatoes anymore.
I do,but only roasted mini red potatoes. you boil them, cut them up into halfs, then pour olive oil and rosemary and roast them. I love smoothies, but I am cautious with all of the calories.
I thinkmy biggest downfall is chocolate.or pizza ^_^
not papaginos pizza. The kind of pizza with crusty bread, carmelized onions, and goatcheese.
It sounds gross to some people but it's really sweet and tangy.I also like gelato. I hate icecream.I like vegetables.but I can't stand when they are tasteless. Well, thank you for reading my journal entry! All coments and tips are appriciated!
Stephanie
