Starting Over

I figured that the old diary was for the previous losses, right? I didn't have much time over the summer to be on the computer at all, and tried to do the at-home journal thing, but I've found, if I know no one will be reading it, I'm not real consistent. So, y'all have to go back to putting up with me.

I did regain some of what I had lost in the beginning of the year, but that's ok. It should go away again fairly quickly, right? Ah well. We'll see.

I'm going back to the gym starting tomorrow. I did get to go some off and on through the summer, especially once my oldest step-son decided he wanted to go with me. But, for August, I've been busy with out of town trips and work and have barely had time to do anything.

August 4th I went back home for the weekened and did my first professional type photo shoot - my best friend's wedding. It went really well - and I'm STILL working on the pictures.

Last weekend was the National Reptile Breeders Expo in Daytona Beach, FL, and that's basically just an excuse for a weekend long party - so lots of not-so-good-for-you food that weekend.

But, I'm done traveling until next spring/summer, and the hubby doesn't know it yet, but we're back on track and program and what he doesn't know won't kill either of us. :cool:
 
Glad to have you back. Congratulation on your first photo shoot and for deciding to get back on the weight loss wagon. Good luck and keep us posted.
 
Ok, so maybe I'm not going to the gym after work in the morning. The hubby got home from work before I left and said he and a friend are taking a road trip this weekend on the bike and he wants me to go. He swears we talked about this before, but apparently old age is kicking in and I don't remember. Of course it could be that he didn't sound like he wanted me to go originally, so, although I always listen to what he has to say, I might not have put a high priority on it, other than to note that eventually he was going to be gone. Who knows.

"Lunch" today (I'm at work): Subway salad - lettuce, turkey breast, ham, cheese, and FF ranch. Dr. Pepper. One step at a time! LOL

Ok, I had intended to get up around 6, head to the gym for an hour or 2, and then go to class. But, after the hubby left work, I went back to sleep and well...it was later than I intended when I woke back up. So, instead, I'll go to my 4 hour class and then go to the gym. Now, it's time for some Cherrios and 1% milk.
