Since this is my first post, let me introduce myself. I am a college student who has gained more than the usual freshmen 15. At my lowest weight (in highschool), I was about 115lbs. Now, I am a whomping 160lbs!!! I can't believe how much weight I have gained.

Well, no use whining about it. Starting today, I am going to treat my body right by eating healthy and having a strict exercise regimen. Wish me luck!!!

As of 10:20AM, I have had: 1 nectarine/ 2 GNC Burn60 pills/ water

UPDATE: 1 Cup Apple Jacks/ 1 Cup 2% Milk

And to all those who read this: Stay strong and beautiful!! :p

Welcome, welcome. I think you will really like it here. Oh so much support!You have taken the hardest step. Starting can be the hardest part. It is so much easier to ride the couch and munch on the bad things. Deciding to eat healthy and get moving is only going to get you back to where you want to be! Be strong.

Have a super great day!

Yesterday, I had about 1400 calories (including the calories I burned while exercising). Hopefully, I'll do a little better today.

Breakfast - Apple Jacks w/ 2% milk = 300 calories

Went to the Aquatic Gardens today with my grandparents and walked around for 30 minutes or so. Then, we went to Ikea to have lunch.

Lunch - veggies and half of a ham sandwich = ~300 calories

So far, so good. Hope I can keep this up. I'm probably going to go running later or do some cardio work at home.

:D

Hi HoneyB :)
Welcome to the forum!

You are taking a great first step in making the decision to start heading towards your goals! By starting today, you're that much closer to your goal then if you waited until next week, next month, next year!

This is a great place to find support and motivation :D

Well done on your food and exercise so far, you are doing great. Starting is definetly the hardest thing, i know how you feel having restarted my healthy eating and exercise today. Hope you are having a good day!

Finished with dinner and I have had an estimated 1100 calories for today. Hopefully, I won't eat anymore tonight and get some exercise in before it gets too dark. :p

Oh, and if you are interested about how I look, I posted three pics in the Before and After forum.

Thanks for the support!

UPDATE: I did 40 minutes of cardio!!!!

Well yesterday I had about 1650 calories. Not very good....:( But at least I was able to do some cardio and strength training for 35 minutes. Hopefully, I will do better today.

I am SO sick of being FAT

My stupid fat self did it once again... I was going well during breakfast be having cereal (240 calories), but then dinner came -

Dinner Roll w/ butter = 200 calories
~16oz Steak (fat trimmed off) = 830 calories
Veggies = 200 calories
Corn on the Cob = 130 calories

TOTAL: 1360 + Breakfast = 1600 calories

I hate being fat....

Don't put yourself down.. it doesnt help you in the long run... you gotta stay positive with yourself... (besides we've seen pictures, you aren't as fat as you think you are - you are a beautiful young woman... :) Be nice to yourself

and except for the pound of cow flesh, you really didn't do that bad... it's well balanced and healthy stuff...

Did you skip lunch today? is that why you were extra hungry at dinner? or did you just eat what was put in front of you? :D

What I had to eat today:

1 Nectarine = 60 cals
2 bowls of Rice = ~300 cals
2 chicken legs = ~350 cals
Veggies = ~100 cals
Cherries = ~125 cals

TOTAL = 935 cals

Hopefully, that's all today! :D

awwww, thanks maleficent! no, i usually skip meals, bad habit, i know. but i also had a problem with eating things that are put in front of me. i always have to finish it... i don't like wasting it, i guess. but yup....blah!
