love the drama in that pic...

What foods are restricted? Obviously sugar, but what about whole grains? Oatmeal? Fruit? Vegetables?

Diet is important, especially if you're diabetic and need to watch what you eat.

well yeah alot of sugar is a nono! lol but basically the plan that im on is that i inject a certain amount of insulin for the amount of carbs that i take... 1unit/5carbs

2 very important things you NEED to do is...

1 - write down everything! Your diet is gonna have to change dramatically so you gotta write everything down that you eat and note how you feel and your blood sugar level. Start slow and build up over time.

2 - start slow in the gym. weight lifting properly takes a hell of a lot more energy than you might think.

You need to keep in mind that your muscles take time to heal. This means that you have to be careful even on days your not training cos you'll be burning calories even while you are sleeping.

Im not diabetic and If I dont eat properly after a workout and go to bed, I go hypoglycemic the same way as if a runner would if they didn’t eat before a race.

also - Make sure you get a good induction and ask as many questions as poss even if it seems stupid.

A person asking a question may be stupid for a minute, but the guy that didnt ask is stupid for life.

i just want to fous on 3 main parts. Abs, Arms, and chest. should i just the machines or should i hire some1? and if i cant afford a trainer. what should i do and how much weight should i begin with?

Do you have one of these?

I would advise you to have a chat on these 2 forums

They are forums for diabetics and they will know a lot more than us about what you should do. you may even find a diabetic weightlifter to chat with.

Don't focus on just the upper part. It needs to be balanced out with the lower body body for both aesthetic reasons and injury prevention.

Have a look at HGM, here:

Yeh, don't have an induction like my one...

"this is how you turn on the inbuilt tv"...
"this is the water machine"...
"I'll briefly name what the machines are called"...

You want to know the correct techniques, how to do things properly without damaging yourself :)
