Starting again

This time last year I started trying to lose weight and was able to lose 20lbs in about 3 months, but about that time I had some serious life stressers and got away from the good habits I had learned. Since then I have regained the 20 and added 15 more. My wife and I are expecting a baby in May and I am worried I am not going to have the energy to keep up with a newborn. My overall goal is to lose 70lbs by the end of the year, but I want the change in lifestyle to be impleneted by May so I dont need to think about it as much while caring for my new daughter. I always appreciate input and suggestions.
 
Since I started my workout routine, I have an amazing amount of energy now. It's tough at first, I will admit that. The gym I go to wants me to do a write up on my work out since I am so far winning the 12 week challenge they are doing. I wouldn't mind sharing with you what I do, nutrition, etc.
