hi everyone this is my first time ever to engage in these communities but i feel i need all the suppost i can get because i've been trying to lose weight while trying to get pregnant and didn't succeed in neither so far, i decided that i'll go a head and try IVF next month to get pregnant, so obviously i need to lose as many kilos as i can before that but the problem here is that every time i try to be on diet i end up gaining few kilos more maybe before because i was on medication for ovulation and stuff like that and i heard that this types of medication slows down the metabolism so i end up depressed because of the hormones and for not losing weight.
But now i'm off the medicines so i have a one month window to try lose weghit.
My plan is
First : walk for an hour a day.
Second : stop drinking any types of soda or stuff like that because it's my weakness I'm addicted to it loll, back to the plan.
Third : don't eat any kind of deserts or sweets fruits only.
Third : eat a lot of protiens and salads.
My goal is to lose 20 kilos in 2 weeks or so, to go from 85 to 65.
Finaly please feel free to advise me with any tips or add more steps to my plan i can use all the help i can get.

Hi nesma, & welcome to the forum. Your plan has a solid base. I don't know how much you feel you need to lose overall, but getting to a healthy weight should improve your chances of becoming pregnant.
Everyone has different ideas about how you should try to lose weight. I think the best way is one that teaches you healthy habits that will be sustainable for the rest of your life. Go to a healthy eating pyramid for some basic guidelines-
https://www.eatforhealth.gov.au/guidelines/australian-guide-healthy-eating
or
https://www.choosemyplate.gov/
to get a better idea of a healthy, balanced diet.
There are lots of phone apps that you can use to track calories, nutrients etc. A lot use My Fitness Pal. Almost everyone eats more than they think & burn less calories than they estimate. I don't eat back my calories for that reason. Make sure you don't eat less than 1200 calories in a day.
Try cutting right down on processed food, fried food, starchy carbs & sugar.
Did you make a mistake with saying you want to lose 20kg in 2 weeks? It must have been a typo.
