Hey, I'm new here, so heres a bit about me! I'm 18, turning 19 in a week and have been overweight since I can remember, but the last few months I've been working as hard as I know how to change that. I'm 5'11, and weighed 298lb in May, and reached 261lb around July 16th, but I havn't been able to move much since and I'm not sure why.
I run for a mile, walk about an hour and workout for about an hour using resistance everyday, that hasn't changed at all since I've started save for a few days off, so I think I'm messing up around the eating part. It's not too hard to use common sense to figure out what one should and shouldn't eat when trying to lose weight, I guess I'm just posting this because I'm doubting myself thinking I'm eating wrong and I'm hoping someone can either correct me or say I'm ok! 'cause, I'm getting frustrated, I really want to know what its like to be able to walk around not worrying about my weight, and not having my stomach hang over the top of my pants.
I've been drinking mainly water, with a meal replacement shake for breakfast and the same for lunch but with fruit, and for dinner I usually try to eat meat with vegetables and thats it. Is this too little or too much? Or could it be something else that is shoving me into this stale mate? any replies or thoughts greatly appreciated! thanks for reading all this either way~
