Hello everyone, My name is Stacey and I am just starting off. I am 30 years old, and a single mother of two. I have been working out for the past 2 1/2 weeks. Think the hardest part is getting started, but know that I am getting in to going to the gym I hate to miss a day. My goal is to get down to 130 lbs my March 2008. I am also waiting on the book Fat smash diet to come in the mail. I am going to start that as soon as the book comes in. I am so ready to make a life style change. I will keep you all posted on how it goes when I get the book

Welcome to the forum. Glad to have you. It sounds like you are very motivated! Hope to share all your victories along the way!!:)

Thank you, I just hope to stay motivated, I always start off good then hit that stuck stage and quite but with friends here that I hope to make and my family I think I will be able to stick with it. My kids really help me, because they like going to the gym and playing with the other kids at the day care, so that really helps me get up to the gym. and The dogs need a walk everyday so they help me get motavated for that after the gym. Now the only thing I have left to change is what I eat, and that will happen when my bood comes in. I hope this week.

Welcome and good luck! I have found so much motivation and good people here:) It has really made the difference! It is hard to get started!!! Congratulations for that! See you around:)

Nice to meet you Mishi, can I ask you how long did it take you to get to your current weight? I hope you dont mind me asking I understand I you ranter not say. Just trying to get any idea of the time frame I am looking at. I know everyone is different, but just trying to get an idea.

Of course I'll say:) I am generally a talker so ask away:) It took me 4 months to get to the 160's. I wasn't really exercising and I was eating 1200 cals a day. I realized later and through lots of reading on this site that even though I was at a lower weight what I was eating was too low. I have lost muscle along with that fat and had to rethink everything. I started working out in June an I started uping my calories this month. I plateaued out for 3 months but I have just in the last few days started dropping again... When I drop past 157 I will know the plateau is over. I am eating now 2 days @ 1200 cals, 2 days @ 1400 cals and 3 days @ 1600-1800 cals. It is a new system and I am not sure if it will work but I couldn't live the way I was eating! It was way to low and ultimatly not healthy and threatened to sabatouge me because I was so hungry all the time. It was easy to give in and start binging recently. Not sure if you wanted all this background but simple weightloss things for me always have a connecting story:p lol

Thank you for all of your information, I was thinking about the same time frame for me also, well at least I hope so any way. I have also droped my calories but like I said before I am working out alot and not really watching what I eat, I am waiting on the fat smash diet bood to come in and my best friend and I are going to go on that diet, and hopefully teach me a new way to eat.

Thank you again for the information.
