Sprint times + Improvement Traianing

Hey guys, started getting back into shape again. Played a lot of sports in high school and weight training but that was 6 years ago.

I'm 23, 118kg(260lbs), 5'11. I've trained twice this week with a friend that runs track in nationals and my fastest 100m is 12.37. I think this is relatively okay for me but want to get faster.

So losing fat will make me faster but what other training could I do to improve my time?

Any advice would be great!
