spinning certification

Hi there, i'm new here and i'm looking for some information. i have been cycling and spinning for years and i find that i'm much better than a number of spinning instructors i have come across in various gyms. so i finally decided i want to get certified. i have looked online and i only found workshops offered by spinning.com. they offer an initial 8-hour workshop and that's it. plus additional workshop to maintain the certification.
any other ideas or avenues? has anybody here got a spinning instructor certificate? how did you do it? thanks a lot in advance

I have my Schwinn Indoor Cycling certifcation (spining). It was a 8 hour training from a Schwinn rep. Very good training. You can also look into Johnny-G or Mad Dogg Athletics for Spinning certs. The most important things in the training are heart rate/beats monitoring, hand positions, and motivation. I rarely teach spinning, but its reallt goo dto know its more than just hopping on a bike and pedaling as fast as you can. There is some logic to it. Hope this helps.
