Some Questions

Ok during this long and terrbile winter I have gotten very out of shape. During last summer I attended Basic Training and considered myslef in the best shape of my life. I was down to about 175Lbs. Now I am around 215LBS and have about 25% Body Fat. My plan for losing weight over the next month and a week include the following.

- Eating very limitly (2 small meals a day) Starvation sort of diet. I know alot of people would not advise of this but this is my only option left i belive if i want to loss 10% body fat and get down around 185LBs within 5 weeks.
- Running 3-4 days a week 20 Min runs with 1 day a week being Fartleks..
- Muscle toning exercises at the gym 5days a week.

I would also like everyone to take into consideration that my job is somewhat demanding.. I push shopping carts for about 2 hours out of my 4 hour shift and walk to work a mile and walk home a mile. If I stick with this plan could I complete my goals or possibly exceed them?

with a very strict diet, i think it's possible only because you have been down at your previous weight recently.

Last Aug is considered recent? Also why when I stepped on the scale it said I lost 5 pounds in 1 day.. I went from about 216 to 211 within 24 hours. Something seems wrong there. Here is what I had to eat today... I think I did pretty well except for the quishe. Does it seem right that without exercise I burn over 2500 calories a day? I think thats amazing.

Also another really really important question I have is my oversweating... Is this ok? Could this by why I am losing so much weight in the past 24 hours? Is their any methods to control your sweating cause sometimes even when sitting down I sweat or walking.

August is considered recent, however, I should have asked if you were down at that weight for a long period ... it was only short term, then it will be a bit harder because your body likes to be at a certain weight. If you were able to maintain a weight for a while, then it's that much easier to get back to it. However, the reverse is also true. If you are normally at the weight you are now, then it'll be hard to maintain it. But, the longer you are at a certain weight, the easier it is to maintain.
As for your change in weight, mine fluctuates anywhere from 5-10 lbs in a day. That's normal.
Sweating, unless you have a genetic problem with sweeting, you will sweat less and less the more exercise you do. Most athletes hardly break a sweat because their body doesn't need to to maintain their internal temperature and balance due to training.

As far as you diet, I must warn you that the "starvation" technique takes away your muscle protein and uses that for energy... Do you happen to know what your daily intake of carbs, protein, and fat are?

Is there a particular reason why you need to lose 40 lbs in 5 weeks? Considering that they recommend losing no more than 2 pounds a week.

You might want to try some interval training along with functional exercise. This is showing to be a great combination to lose weight... When do you workout? because recent studies support the idea of working out in the morning is the best way to lose weight...

Since you sweat a lot, make sure you drink a lot... of water that is... lol... water also gives you the "dilusion" that your full some times... so drink AT LEAST 2 Liters a day.... (I know that seems like a lot, but think about how much you drink when you work out)

Well First Off what you are saying is you Fluctuate. A small amount of people have this. Sometimes its not in the best interest that people have this, but if your trying to lose weight it can help.

Next Armyrulz30 There is no need to go on a sartvation Diet.

Simply Do your workout's you have been explaining and add 20-30 min more on your arobics.

Stay On A good diet such as fruits, salads and Take Vitamins On a regualar basis, Make sure you eat Breakfast In mornings. And ofcorse stay away from the simple carbs. If you Do this that will help you lose weight very fast while Not starving yourself.

*cheers*
