Me and my fiance are serious about working this out and start getting active, eating right and losing weight... We both have become extremely unhappy with ourselves. If you dont care to read just skip down to the bold.
Basically, well we just had a baby and she gained about 40 lbs (our girl is now almost 6 months old) and she hasn't been able to burn it off because... we are both laid off! Perfect opportunity to be physically active now that winter is coming to an end, but with winter we pretty much just hibernated in doors.
I myself gained 25lbs when i quit smoking, and another 15-20ish just being lazy sitting at home all day. I was 245-50, but in shape from dealing with roofing stuff all day Now after quitting smoking and sitting at home being lazy i am at 291, the heaviest i have ever weighed.
Here is the issue, she likes all veggies etc, but i absolutely can not STAND any vegetables (unless of course there deep fried
) I mean carrots are ok but that's about it, raw carrots. So my plan is to cut out all my bs snacks like chips and the norm replacing them with fruits. Can i still healthily lose weight without veggies? I have tried veggies steamed, cooked etc still a no go.
What would be a good example of a decent snack/meal for me? Are there any websites or articales for healthy eating for the people who dont like things with veggies in? I myself dont understand what a person means when they say balance proteins etc etc out through out the day
She has it easy because she loves veggies (although both or preference has been fast food for the past 5 months, but with work she can easily change that as well)
