I did only 30 minutes today on the treadmill (4.5 mph again) and a 20 minute walk with the dogs..

I can't seem to get everything done before the kids get home :(

I know once school starts I will have more time and will definitely get my full workout in, but for now I can only get as much as I can fit in 3 hours to include errands, and some house stuff I can't do with them here....
 
well did a 30 minute walk with my hubby and the dogs today. Did another 20 minutes on my treadmill before I needed to re-think what I am going to do for a workout. My shins were hurting me..... :(

Working up a new plan:


Maybe......

30 minutes punching bag
30 minutes walk
floor exercises
some stretching
Lunges
Yoga

This walking just ain't doing it for me. I'll get something together before tomorrow......

Can't say much except been walking...It's so damn hot It's like living in a sauna all day long!

Tried punching the bag too, with hubby's gloves....and found I need my own.

Barely get in and out of the house without feeling like we are going to pass out...lol
 
Squats: 3 sets of 10
Lunges: 5 sets of 10

Arms: overhead press 3 sets of 12 (15lbs)

Boxing/kicking bag: 30 minutes
Walk/jog: 30 minutes

Just gonna see how I feel tomorrow. wanted to do something more than walking :)

Will get a routine together if I'm doing ok over the next few days.....

I will always have the "whip" in the ready position, for you. :cheeky:

Even a horse with the big strong muscles, and endurance like a turbine engine, needs preciously and categorically whacked while striding down the track,to bring out the best (or improve upon the bestest :)), to see improvement.

The head contains the blueprint room for improvement. Its the biggest room in da' house.

So after begging my doc, I got cleared to do some more work. No abs or compounds that strains my tummy. Also Her words: "don't over do it!" lol :D

So here was todays workout:

Lunges front 3 x 12
Lunges back 3 x 12
Lunges side 3 x 12
Standing Kick backs 3 x 12 (15 lbs)
knee lifts 3 x 12 (15 lbs)

Hammer curls 3 x 12 (10 lbs)
Bi-cep curls 3 x 12 (15 lbs)
Tri-cep kick backs 3 x 12 (15 lbs)
Tri-cep pull downs 3 x 12 (10 lbs)

Dumbbell rows 3 x 12 (10lbs)
Shrugs 3 x 12 (30 lbs)
Over head press 3 x 12 (10lbs)

Thanks again Tenreps! There is still a lot I can't do, but I am working around it doing what I can till I get the *all clear* from the doc :)

My workout is lacking in chest, back, and abs....but soon....lol :D

However, I was cleared for riding, walking/running again so I've hit it hard on the bike again.. yay!!

What I haven't done are the legs & arms too much so that's the next ingredient.

I feel like the Genie in the movie Aladdin... "Let's make some magic!!" :rofl:

yeah, I was told months, but I begged....lol :azzangel: I'm a pretty quick healer, and she said I was one of the most fit people shes had come thru the place, so I guess she felt I would be careful once we talked a little.
