so i took a break from working out, went on vacation, and when i came home i found out i lost five pounds...a little pissed, but no big deal...Could this have been fat or muscle i lost (i dont think)...thanks for any responds
were you eating properly when you were on vacation? a lot of time we tend to take breaks from training unfortunately that doesn't mean that you can take a break from carbs and protein. those are required even if you are on vacation. I know what your going through though I think we all do the same thing when we take a break off of training. all you have to do is get your body and mind "gym ready" again and you'll put back on some weight.
Five lbs? Body weight fluxuates by at least 5 lbs in the course of a day. Mine comes close to 10 it seems. I can weigh myself 3 times during the course of a day and get 3 different weights. The amount of fluid in your system at weigh-in time is probably the biggest factor.
If you lost 5 lbs (max) I wouldnt even think about it. It could be anything from less water/fluid in your system to an empty stomach, or the dinner you skipped the night before.
