smaller waist?

i was wondering what are some exercises i can do at home to get a small waist. I am doing cardio at the gym, and at home i do squats and pushups to tone my arms and butt. However, want to create a small waist, but am not a fan of crunches. What wuld my options be if i want to reach my goal?
 
I'm no expert but what you're doing sounds good to me. What kind of cardio do you do? Just running? As far as a smaller waist, I think the biggest thing is to watch your diet. Just keep at what you're doing and you'll see results. How long have you been at this? Also, throw in a little weight training. More muscle burns more fat.
 
I like doing ab work on a stability ball. You can do crunches to the side and it really works the obliques. My stomach shaped up very quickly after I started working on that ball.
 
Stability balls are a great choice. There are so many exercises you could never get bored. However. you cannot just do exercises for your abs to spot reduce the fat there. Working your abs will give you a good muscle base but really won't do much for the fat covering them. You can get rid of that with a clean diet.

can somebody explain to me what planks are, especially if someone prefers them over crunches, i might giev em a shot. well i will
 
i happen to have one of those stability balls. i use it to play giant basketball :p im so sad.... anyway. what are some good ab workouts i can do on a stability ball?
