smaller bust

yes, really. i want them smaller. they used to be smaller, but over the last few years, my breasts have increased in size and are not as "upright" as they used to be. i have gained a bit of weight (maybe 10 pounds). i'm doing cardio to lose the weight and the fat.

are there exercises that will also help trim and lift my breasts?

any exercises are fine. i'd like to have more upper-body strength too, and have tried weight training in the past without much improvement in that area. arms and legs get stronger; shoulders stay narrow and i STILL cannot do a dip!

thanks for any advice!

Breasts consist mostly of fat. Lowering bodyfat should decrease breast size.

...of course if you're genetically prone to having large breasts (which apparently you are) that may be one of the last fat stores to go.

thanks!

actually, i've always been pretty small up-top, which is why i find this "new" body so discomfiting. based on history and family, i'm genetically predisposed to be small, lol.

but i've been pretty sick the last few years and not able to exercise much or even be as active as i'd like to be. i'm trying to build back up to a better and more consistent exercise routine again.

i guess part of the sagging might be age (?). but i asked a friend, who's a personal trainer, what i could do to help lift and tone, and she said there weren't any exercises that could help lift breasts that had already started to sag. in spite of believing she's good in her career, i thought i'd ask out here. ;)

anyway, i'll keep up the cardio. i think my breasts were one of the last places i gained some of that extra weight, so i suppose that'll be one of the last places to lose it then, too.

I believe sagging occurs when the fat tissues overload the connective tissues.. Decreasing size may help. It will depend how much collagen is in your skin whether it will tighten back up at that point
