Small meals and protein shakes.

What would be consider a small meal?

Also how often should I drink a Protein shake? I know its good after a work out and before going to bed. The Whey Protein I take right now has 30g of protein per serving. How many times should I drink it a day? I weight 155lbs, so would 5 times be about right, since I'm trying to put on muscle mass?
 
Back up, first thing you have to consider - your protein intake - you should try to get your requirements from regular food first. If you don't meet those requirements, then add some whey into your diet. Post workout and before bed are good, that's 60 grams right there, get 100-150 more of regular food throughout the day and you'll be good.
