Hey everyone! I've been here before, but I'm back again ... I need to lose this weight. I'm going on vacation in FL in June so I really want to get in control of my body.
I'm 21 years old, 5ft. 11in. tall, and 200 lbs. I want to eventually get down at 140 lbs. but for right now I need to just take this day by day - that seems to be the only thing that keeps me moving :)
Any and all advice is very helpful! Feel free to drop in :)

Daily Goals:
1. LOTS of water
2. 45 min. cardio
3. walk or bike ride
4. alternate legs and arms strength training
5. watch my portions & eat healhty
6. write down everything I eat
 
Day 1

Friday, Day 1 :) Here we goooo!!!

B - 3 pieces of cheese
mini bagel w/ peaches & cream cream cheese

L - turkey/tomatoe/lettuce wrap w/ flavored low fat sour cream spread
lean cuisine meal

S - 5 crackers w/ low fat sour cream dip
cheese

D - rotissare chicken
mini bagel w/ cream cheese & tomato
Minestrone soup (with lean hamburger)
Exercise:
short bike ride (uphill) WHEW! was I panting hehe*
30 min. speed walking on tredmill
upper body strength training
lunges across room w/ 8lb weights

Looks like you got a good plan for yourself. And today you started off good. Keep it up and you'll get to where you wanna be real soon. Have a great day and enjoy your bike ride :D

Day 2

B - 3 egg omelette w/ light cheese & mushrooms




Exercise: this morning I didn't get a great workout, but I did force myself out of bed before work and walked 40 minutes on the tredmill at 4.1 speed.
did some squats
 
Great job on making yourself do it! I've had those days where I just don't give a crap about anything, and its hard to get the mindframe back to ok, I'll do it! Keep it up !
 
Day 3

B- BIG OOPS!!! (went home for the night, mom made breakfast!) 3 pancakes w/ syrup, scrambled eggs, OJ

L- minestone soup (one bowl)
turkey/tomato/lettuce/honey mustard wrap

S- apple
 
You did good yesterday. You had them pancakes but had good food for the rest of the day :D Keep it up..... Drink your WATER

It's finals week at school this week and OF COURSE I work more than ever this week! ARGH! So it's hard for me to write down what I eat everyday but once this week is over I will be totally dedicated :) I'll try my best for now!

Today's plan is to tan at 9:30, run errands, shower and go to work 12 - 6, then go straight to the gym & get a goooood workout in, then come home to study for tomorrow's final.

B- 2 slices of cheese
special K bar

(Plan)
L- lean cuisine meal
lettuce salad w/ light dressing

S- apple

D- grilled chicken/mushrooms/tomatos
 
Day 4

I don't think I could have chosen a more stressful time to start this healthy lifestyle haha* But I guess it needs to happen sometime and the sooner the better!
I have my first final this morning at 10 ... which I NEED to do well on :/ Yikes! So I'm studying up until then, then taking that, then home to shower & get ready for work, work 2 - 5, home to CLEAN this mess ... hopefully get a workout in, but I still have so much studying to do tonight. But don't worry, I'll get on track once this Friday is OVER :)

You're back!! Hey Trish, I missed ya! Didn't see you come back with a new journal.

I hope your exam went well. It is hard eating well with all the lovely stress of cramming. Seems like I need more food during those times. Luckily I'm doing good now. I'm on a roll.

You will be too. Keep at it, you're going to look good for your vacation. Didn't realize you were so tall. whoo hoo

Finals are FINALLY DONE !!!! woo hoo !! now I can be focused on getting in shape and sticking with it ... not that finals are an excuse but at least I won'tbe stressing so dang much!

I am having a really hard time with getting over an ex ... even though I have someone else in my life that I ADORE (but I think I feel more for him than he does for me .... ) But anywyas, my ex and I broke up after 3 years about one year ago .... but we stayed on talking terms and whatnot and were kind of off and on for a few months. Well ... I was the first one to move on with this new guy and we were great for a while but now I think I want more commitment from him than he is willing to offer ... so I don't know how long this will last ... BUT the other day, the ex and his NEW gf came to my place to pick up a dvd he had left here a llooong time ago ... I didn't see her, but I know who she is. (not cute lol) Anyways, it really has been upsetting me .... I was totally over him, or so I thought, until I saw him with someone else who makes him happy. I never really imagined it would happen even though I knew it woul d... but I just hat eknowing she is making him smile and she is the one who he looks forward to talking to and spending time with after work .. etc. I hate it and I know we didnt work out for a reason ... but it just is really hard right now because i thought it was over him but now its making me soooo upset thinking of them together. I dont want to get back with him ... I just dont want him with anyone else either lol. but yet I want to be with this new guy. lol. SOOOOO i'm selfish I know lol. But ... :/
 
Starting over ...

I've been slacking, for some reason I just can't get in the groove and stay there ... so today I went grocery shopping and spent 93$ on healthy foods .. SO if that is not a motivator in itself ... I don't know what else is! Geeze ...

I skipped breafast today (shame on me, I know ... ) and went and got my toenails done. l love pedicures :) Then I went tanning ... and grocery shopping, and now I am home to CLEAN! Then heading to the gym ... I bought an iPod the other day and I love it ... soooo much easier for me to work out now!

B - skipped*

L - 3 peices of pineapple
smoked salmon

Keep going, you can do it!!!! I know how u feel about you're Ipod. I love mine and i am so much more motivated to run when i have it on. Keep up the good work!!!
