Skinny, How do I get bigger?

I am built skinny. I eat at least an extra meal a day, try to workout, and can't seem to bulk up. I am 6" 2. I play basketball and I am tired of getting pushed around. Any advice?

Squat, bench, overhead press and deadlift three sets of eight, eat at least 2500 calories, majority being protein and carbs.

Its easy buddy,

the first thing you need to do is of course, start a workout routine for your whole body associated with mainly weight resistance training. You should try to keep your cardiovascular at a minimum, though as a basketball player that you are, you tend to run alot.

But with all the workout that you may or will do, you need to of course feed your body with valuable nutrients to create growth. mainly a surplus of protein/carbs/ and of course fat (healthy, monosats, polysats, minimal saturated)

figure out what your daily caloric needs are to sustain your current weight, to get big and bulk up. would require you to eat a "surplus of 500-1000 calories" Of course these meals will also be split throughout the day, 4,5,or 6 meals a day, depending on you.

depending on his current height/age/weight, eating 2500 calories may probably not work for him.

you MUST include your age and height, not only your weight into consideration

If you play basketball a lot, and you plan on adding significant mass, you should aim for around 5000 calories a day. Right now, you are not eating enough to grow. Every meal you eat from now on should be double what you currently are consuming, then you might start to see some gains.

Nick, stop giving advice. You're giving crappy exaggerated responses.
