My weight loss journey started May 2011 when i started a weight loss program. the program lasted 4 months. From May-September (5 months) I lost 50lbs. (start weight 294 lbs. end weight 244lb) I plataued at 50 lbs exactly! So I figured my body just needed time to adjust and Id go back on, anyways over the course of the winter I gained 10lbs. As i got depressed, ate junk food and slep more. Sooo...Im hoping back on track NOW at 255 lbs. I eat healthy, lean meats (mostly skinless chicken), lots of fruit and veggies minimal dairy and carbs. When I do eat dairy (which is mostly cheese LOVE cheese and Chocolate) I eat 40% less fat cheese and a dark Chocolate apose to a peanut and caramel filled chocolate. as for carbs, when i have a hankering for them i will eat whole grain.....Iv learnt not to deprive myself to avoid over indulging and iv also learnt its a life long thing, not a quick fix.
Today I ate a Kashi granola bar for breakfast (had to be quick i was on the go, i usually eat fruit and cereal)
i had a bowl of canned tomatoes for lunch ( LOVE that
)
I made a vegitarian chili for dinner.....
Then.....i just had to have some chocolate! and well, i did, i didnt over do it and consideing my calorie count was probably fairly low on this particular day. Not trying to justify just saying.
I did NOTHING for exercise today. Wendsdays are my day off. Mondays are an hour of kick boxing calss
Tuesdays are an hour of Zumba class and thursdays are 2 hours of Belly dancing class. and the weekend is hiking and walking on the beach, how romantic and cheesey right!? ha! Its because i walk, jog, walk, jog in the sand for some resistance.
Iv NEVER been skinny in my whole life. I was -the fat kid- i was picked on ALLOT for being fat in grade school. But Im over it now. If anything it made me a stronger person. I also think being a -fat girl- is harder then being a -fat boy-. fat boys can get a girlfriend if there funny. fat girls are just fat. Now, im not morbidly obese or a slob i actually have a size 18 hourglass figure. (look at my pics) Im just your average skinny sexy funny tomboy in a fat girl suit. I honestly dont feel like a -fat person- i really feel like a skinny chick in a fat suit! Can anyone relate to that?
