Skinny chick in a fat girl suit.

My weight loss journey started May 2011 when i started a weight loss program. the program lasted 4 months. From May-September (5 months) I lost 50lbs. (start weight 294 lbs. end weight 244lb) I plataued at 50 lbs exactly! So I figured my body just needed time to adjust and Id go back on, anyways over the course of the winter I gained 10lbs. As i got depressed, ate junk food and slep more. Sooo...Im hoping back on track NOW at 255 lbs. I eat healthy, lean meats (mostly skinless chicken), lots of fruit and veggies minimal dairy and carbs. When I do eat dairy (which is mostly cheese LOVE cheese and Chocolate) I eat 40% less fat cheese and a dark Chocolate apose to a peanut and caramel filled chocolate. as for carbs, when i have a hankering for them i will eat whole grain.....Iv learnt not to deprive myself to avoid over indulging and iv also learnt its a life long thing, not a quick fix.

Today I ate a Kashi granola bar for breakfast (had to be quick i was on the go, i usually eat fruit and cereal)
i had a bowl of canned tomatoes for lunch ( LOVE that :) )
I made a vegitarian chili for dinner.....

Then.....i just had to have some chocolate! and well, i did, i didnt over do it and consideing my calorie count was probably fairly low on this particular day. Not trying to justify just saying.

I did NOTHING for exercise today. Wendsdays are my day off. Mondays are an hour of kick boxing calss
Tuesdays are an hour of Zumba class and thursdays are 2 hours of Belly dancing class. and the weekend is hiking and walking on the beach, how romantic and cheesey right!? ha! Its because i walk, jog, walk, jog in the sand for some resistance.

Iv NEVER been skinny in my whole life. I was -the fat kid- i was picked on ALLOT for being fat in grade school. But Im over it now. If anything it made me a stronger person. I also think being a -fat girl- is harder then being a -fat boy-. fat boys can get a girlfriend if there funny. fat girls are just fat. Now, im not morbidly obese or a slob i actually have a size 18 hourglass figure. (look at my pics) Im just your average skinny sexy funny tomboy in a fat girl suit. I honestly dont feel like a -fat person- i really feel like a skinny chick in a fat suit! Can anyone relate to that?

Anyways, im rambling, but its MY diary :)

I understand your feelings and you perception of your body is quite normal, nobody wants to be fat,nobody wants to feel fat, because fat body is associated with unhealthy lifestyle and isn't considered to be attractive. We're women, we always want to be sexy and attractive and to feel sexy and attractive, that's why you may feel as if you body isn't yours. You have your goals,your motivation and it's great! Hopefully your cravings for sweets go away around 21 days like mine did (im a sucker for Trans Fats =(. )

I dont thinl ill ever get rid of sweet cravings, more specificly CHOCOLATE! im not going to, not will i ever give up chocolate, but like i said once a month when i get the craving i eat some dark chocolate. i will never stop this and i dont plan on it! lol i juts go for the dark pure chocolate, no extras, no caramilk or peanuts or w/e. and im okay with this. id rather have it when i want it then deprive myself and end up over indulging. not sure if its the "right thing" but its what i do.

today iv ate- breakfast 100call thin bagel with honey and a plum
-Lunch fresh fruit bowl and some chicken
-Dinner-low fat chicken alfrado with carrots and peas and whole wheat pasta mixed half fresh green beans
I also picked at my fruit bowl most of the day for snacks....and as i write this im eating a kashi granola bar. I know your not supose to eat while watching tv, online ect, BUT this is a consious decision im making to eat this and im enjoying every bit of it.
Today for exercise i did some belly dancing, actually showed my mom how to do it hehe. and now im siging off and im going to rake the yard and run around with my daughter.

Yuor right if you deprive yourself you will indulge, alittle here and there wont help, its alot eaiser to burn off a few every now and then then it is to burn off half a block!
 
Ate a small bag of chips and a diet pepsi tonight annnd some peanuts. not to happy with myself, but atleast it was small bag. Why oh why must children insist on pop and chips while watching movies on saterday night?! i wasnt going to post this but w/e I am, im not going to get anywhere and this diary isnt going to help me unless im honest with/about myself. I just keep telling myself "the only diffrence in people who succeed and people who fail is the ones who succeed dont quit while they are failing" this is something i remind myself offten, be it school, weightloss,w/e so, i didnt "over do it" tonight and im not giving up. UUUGH just get frusterated when my self controll is weak. Im a strong person. Its not like i was even craving chips or anything i just plain ol' wanted them and so i ate them! WHY!? gah, i dont expect answers, i know we've all done it beforand this does not mean im a failure, just bothered by it and had to rant.
 
AI drink a diet Pepsi everyday. I've done that for a year and lost 90lbs. I also eat the little bags of baked lays and Doritos. As long as they fit into my calories, I ate it. Don't beat yourself up over little things like that. You need to be able to eat some of the foods you love. I know that the foods I eat, I'll be able to eat the rest of my life.

Thanks so much, i was just upset with myself when i wrote that and had to vent. this week im going to buy some of the "100 calorie" packs of chips so i know exactly how many calories im getting. thanks again. :)
 
Bad as everyone says it is, I do find nothing satisfies my sweet craving like diet coke, so wouldn't worry too much. Also, have you tried graze boxes? They're really good for healthy small portions of sweet and yummy things. x
 
Havent tried graze boxes, but we have "thinsations" which are 100 calorie snack packs, cookies, chocolate pretzels ect, as well ass 100 cal chip bags so you know the exact amout you are getting. I also want to try "pop chops" apparently there a great low cal no fat blah blah chip that taste fantastic! as far as chips go i USUALLY get crispy minis (flavored thin rice cakes) ..

Today I went for lunch. I ate a garden salad with vinegrett and beef veg soup. YAY for healthy choices in a harder situation. :)
 
Today i ate
breakfast- raisin bran with rise milk
late Lunch- garden salad, beef veg soup, 2 cheese sticks
dinner- peice of whole grain toast and honey (busy day moving. plus was still kinda full from lunch)

did no actual exersice program today, but moved heavy boxes up and down stairs for about 3 hours, worked up a sweat so that must be a good thing!
 
AThey sell multi packs of baked chips...sun chips, Doritos, lays, Cheetos. The range from 90-140 calories a bag. I buy them at Walmart for about $6. If you're really into organizing stuff, you could buy your favorite chips, and then portion them into Ziploc baggies.

Breakfast- Large bowl of strawberries and blacktea
snack -honey on multi grain toast
Lunch-apple and balance peanutbutter
snack?- natural apple juice, 1 cup watered down
supper-vegitarian chili
snack -some lunch meat


All in all a good day, could have went without the lunch meat but, it was my snack befor kick boxing.
Serisouly thinking about doing Visalus, Body by Vis transformation kit. Has anyone heard if it? been on it, or know anyone who has been on it? Iv been up in the air over Beachbody-Shakology and the body by Vi but I think ill do the body by vi, as far as taste reviews and the price of it, it sounds more for me. PLUS its also a shake diet but you eat snacks throughout the day plus supper so im thinking its both doable and affordable. Ill atleast stay on it the 30days to jump start my weight loss seeing as i allready eat a healthy diet and exersice. And if its not my thing ill just switch back to eating healthy and if it is for me ill possibly stay on it. either way when i get it and have been on it for a while Ill write a short review. I dont endorse either products just something im going to try.
Welp, off to get ready for kick boxing, Imma work my butt off tonight! (Pun intended ha!)

Do you have any tips ImmaNinja? (love the name :p) or just the ol' eat healthy and exersice routine? Mad props to you for losing 90lbs! wow!!! How long did it take?
 
Back from kick boxing now. My instructor forgot his stereo so instead of getting lost in the music and somewhat mindlessly working out like usual... i decided to really concentrate on my moves, man oh man was i sweating up a storm! hurts so good! I should be aware and concentrate more often like i did tonight!
