Sit-Ups!!

Hey, Can any1 tell me if i am doing it rite... well, when i do sit-ups i put my feet underneath my bed. does that work, am i doing it properly?

If your doing what I think your doing then yes that will work well. Many people do the same thing with door mounted pullup bars (that they mount closer to the floor), to give then a place for their feet to lock into. To challange yourself also try situps with while resting your legs on a chair (legs at 90 degrees with the floor).

there has been a debate over this for a while. Whenever you can exercise, go ahead.
 
Same stuff happens to me when i do situps without a situp bench... I get a bad ass pain in the back and bones...So I only do them in a situp bench ;)
 
BTW guys, the best time to workout is first thing in the morning. Thats when your testosterone levels are the highest. (thats why its common to get a hard on for no reason in the morning)

But try not to get a hard on in the gym or you'll prob get kicked out
 
If your lower back hurts, your form is bad. Your back should be very, very straight for as much of the sit up as possible.

I recommend crunches over situps though. Less risk of bad form, and less time required for a good burn.
