Hi everyone!

I've never done anything like this before but could really do with some support and motivation.
I am 25 and currently I weigh 20 stone 3 pounds and I'm 5 foot 8. Last year I got under 18 stone for the first time in 3 years until I found out the company I worked for was being sold and we were all losing our jobs then I lost my rented house. Diet went out the window! Now I'm 6 weeks into my redundancy and have decided instead of sitting round feeling sorry for myself I need to start using my free time for exercise and planning healthy meals.
I would like to get down to 11 stone 4 pounds which is the top end of my weight range but I'm just taking it one stone at a time for now! Would love to lose 3 or 4 stone by November as I'm going to see a comedian and last time I couldn't even sit comfortably for the whole show it hurt my bum! I also just want to get fit and healthy I love sports like tennis and swimming but am too ashamed to do them right now. For the minute I'll stick with walking, my exercise DVD and dancing round my living room!

Good luck! I know that being out of work seems to suck the energy right out of you but its a great time to focus on working out and eating as healthy as you can afford to! November is far away so you have plenty of time to get smaller :) I love exercise DVD's they are fun :)

how are you? Sorry to hear about your job. it's a bummer. But you have a perfect opportunity to be active so often when I finish my work I can't be bothered to do any form of exercise.
