Schwinn 430 elliptical question...

Although I've lost 20 pounds in the last month and a half, I'm still fifteen pounds over the 275 lb. weight limit on the Schwinn 430 elliptical that my wife and I bought a few months ago. I'm dying to get on the thing, but I'm afraid I'm gonna break it until I lose more weight. Are weight limits on Schwinn equipment conservative or do I need to make sure I meet the weight requirement before I use it? Geez, I'm even a little afraid that I could break it if I use it when I reach 275...

You need one that can handle your weight limits. Given the motion and momentum you are exerting even more weight than just gravity. You will likely cause a premature collapse of the frame.
