Hi All,

This is just a monthly update on my progress, see my introduction post here. I quit my job to get my weight under control before it kills me.


I plan on doing end of month updates to this blog as I progress.

January: 409 pounds *eek*
Feburary: 387 pounds
March: 362 pounds

For April I'm doing 2 hours a day on the x-trainer, 1 hour a day on exercise bike and I'm walking for up to 2 hours a day as well, oh and i soak in the SPA at home about an hour every day to give my body some much needed love :)


I'm still eating between 1300 to 1500 calories a day, I've still yet to have any dairy, sugar, pasta or rice since the 3rd of January and I no longer crave it at all.



So 47 pounds down in 3 months, I still hope to get my weight to about 200-220 pounds by December and then lose the next 30-40 pounds next year. I think it will be possible. but only time will tell.


Oh and I've gone from a size 24 to size 20. so thats something as well.

Hey Satashia,

Welcome to the forum and wow, let me say, congratuations on your successes so far on your journey! You are really doing well and so very focused. We'd love to hear from you more often, get inspired by you and also help encourage you along the way, so feel free to post!! I started out at 269, on my way to 143 and I'm currently at 188. I can tell you it's possible...hard work and requires alot of determination, but possible. My weightloss has slowed down (at first I was losing about 10 pounds/month), but now, I'm down to about 4-5 pounds/month, and staying with it. I don't know when I'll actually get to my goal weight...and I'm not sweating it...I just know that as I keep making good food choices and exercising, it will come off!

A little update from me.


I'm still eating between 1300-1500 calories a day. A few days I've gone over a bit but generally make it up by doing more exercise on that day.


My daily exercise is


5am - Exercise bike - 30 minutes

9am - 1 hour walk

12pm - Exercise bike - 45 minutes

2pm - Cross trainer - 30 minutes

3pm - Exercise bike - 45 minutes

5pm - Cross trainer - 30 minutes

6-9pm - Rest / dinner and relax with hubby

10pm - Exercise Bike - 45 minutes


I've done this so far every day this month and while I'm not sure how much weight I've lost yet I'm noticing all my clothes are starting to get quite lose. 7 more days to go until i jump on the scales to see how I've done.
