same thing everyday

I was also just thinking about....I run everyday, well, 5 days a week now...but i do 4 miles everyday....does this make my body go into too much of a "routine" mode, where I don't burn as much fat as I want to? Or does it not really matter? I have noticed a lot of people say that variety is better, but does it really matter as long as I am running???? I want to work up to 30 miles a week....so far, its at 20, and i have awhile to build up.......but nonetheless, I was just wondering what yall thought....thanx!
 
Many trainers suggest a varied week, like 2-4-2-4-2-6-rest. And try to build up the last day to longer and longer distances. This kind of schedule allows you some recovery recovery during the week on your short days, but still gets you the benefits of 20 miles a week and some long distances.
