I have never been in great shape, fastest mile I have ever run was a little under 9 minutes. I am 6'4 weighing about 175. I just started lifting weights 3 times a week and running a mile at a 10 minute pace after that on a treadmill recently. The 10 minute mile on a treadmill doesn't fatigue me too much. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for proving my speed and stamina? Working really hard, what kind of improvements should I expect weekly or monthly and whatnot?
