Thats my Goal....
Kwik blurp about why I have to do this in the First place. For the Past several Years I have allowed myself from any Normal Eating pattern of decent food (healthy food) My days would consist of Coffee on the fly then grab 1 or 2 biscuits from hardee's ( if I even had breakfast)on my way to work... Get to work and eat some Popcorn (we actually have fresh popcorn everyday at my office for customers)LUnch I would go to the Local grocery store and get what ever the Slop of the day was (IF I had lunch at all) Evening time would come I would make a HUge meal of Pasta, steak bacon wrapped something or other on the Grill etc... and proceed to have 4 or more coctails plus snacks!
Really sitting back and looking at what I had allwoed myself to become I was not happy with me and obviously the way I looked.
Start date? sometime in the week before Christmas I said lets do this... I started out at 285 pounds + or - I made it through the holidays with out Snacking too much and actually was able to lose 1 or 2 lbs now in the Second week of 2007 I am at 268 this morning (oh yea and no cigarettes since Jan 1 either) Now I have been Counting Calories and forcing my self to Eat three Meals a day plus 3 Healthy Snacks as well... walking at least three times a week for 20-30 minutes however here in wisconsin we normally have snow and I live in the country where the roads are not the best to walk in winter so my wife and I bought a treadmill today to help out in the winter...
1 confession I still allow myself coctails twice a week... Someday I will either eliminate one day or reduce the amount on both days....
