I started weight training this week and planning to do it 3 times a week. How long should I expect to see changes on my body?

6 weeks if your a newbie and your workout/diet is decent.

Actually, I started lifting since January but then I stopped after that because I didn't see good results.

This time, I will give it a try for 6 months to see what happens.
 
Please keep in mind that building a sexy body is a two sided coin: exercise & diet. You can lift a 1000 lbs and still look like crap if your diet sucks.
