We dont' mind people posting their blogs....if your unsure about if its spam, or not, contact a mod and ask :)

I didn't do anything to you. The ONLY other conv. I've ever had w/ you is I stated that I felt you should apologize to another member for a hurtful comment "..I hope you fail"

Never mind about newbride lol...It was the queen who gave me the infraction, and we all know who the queen of this message board is.

You seem really bitter about it...its really not a big deal. Infractions do expire fairly quickly.

How does one become the queen of a message-board?

1. Has at least 1 post in every single thread

2. Has over a billion posts

3. Has created over a billion threads

4. Is a mod

5. Is female

6. Everyone knows her

7. She can do/say whatever she wants

8. Billion rep points

I think that sums it up...Now sir Steve...you're the king around here :D

If I didn't know better, being 'queen' or 'king' would be a negative in your world, huh?

Isn't it mcdonalds who's tag line is over 1billion served? not burger king :)

I'm kinda like mcdonalds then :)

and I really wish I could do and say whatever i wanted... I do have a pretty strong filter on myself...

While I know it can be therapeutic to give negative reputation to spammers - negative reputations doesn't get reported to anyone...

Please use the Report Post function when you see spam that might have been missed by the moderation staff - we don't always see everything... but reported posts we do see and can act on...

thanks

How exactly does one tell if a post/thread is spam or from a troll? (Sorry, my ignorance is showing . . . ) I've never seen or come across that I don't think.

We try to get to it before anyone sees it - so the fact that yo haven't seen any - means we're doing an ok job :)

spam is pretty blatant - someone is selling something.. or it's their first post and they have a link to a moronic website. often times the person's signature will contain a link to some site - especially sites like clickbank and other sites that clicking the link puts money in s omeone's pocket

So, someone who links to their webiste that promotes losing 9 pounds in 11 days (or some such bunk) isn't spam?

I only ask because I thought it was spam, reported it as such over a week ago...and the post still remains as the last post on a sticky thread in the newcomers forum.
