Rehab training-intercostals

I'm in the process of coming-back from straining my right intercostals-fairly severe. The tenderness is about gone (after 5 weeks) unless I overextend it. Question....What would be a good training protocol for the intercostals? I know baseball players are constantly damaging these muscles, I did mine golfing (no snickers please). Tried lat pulldowns, light weight-strict form and that seemed to hurt only slightly-any other ideas?

If I were you, you should just call up your doctor or physical therapist and ask them, because they know your situation better than any of us... Plus you want to have it properly healed and get proper rehab so you don't have any complications down the road.
