Rebel's Diary

Yep.each to their own. I lived with 2 Americans years ago and they thought it was hilarious that our guards weren't armed. They couldn't get their heads around how they get someone to stop. I was like....they run after them and shout stop. It's only a small Country, they've a fair idea who the culprit they're chasing is and will pick them up later lol.
LOL interesting approach....

Well power is finally back on. I already had a water filter on the kitchen sink and added one outside. Water is probably fine i just dont trust this funkified city water. So things are getting normalish.......

Well ive been eating horribly the past week or maybe it was two. I havent been eating sugars or crazy amount of starches but things like not counting calories so im sure i was over every day. I may have gained 5 or 10 pounds but im not about to get on a scale to find out. I'll weigh in a few weeks and by then I will have lost weight or be back to where I was before the storm. I was having major carb cravings so I just came off a 2 day complete fast. Water, tea, and a diet soda here and there. Now cravings are gone and I can move forward.
Power and water is back on. WiFi is back up and running and I just got back from the grocery store so things are getting back to normal.

Well, hard to call your situation this past time anything other than exceptional so I´d say you needn´t be hard on yourself for reacting in a less-than-perfectly-healthy way. Glad to hear you´re getting real food again, though; I was feeling really guilty!

Today was a pretty good day. Well i guess it was really yesterday since it's a little after 4:30 am. No exercise to speak of but I have been going out more. When I went shopping I walked instead of using the motorized cart. It really wasnt that bad so I'll consider that a win. Food was decent other than a can of peaches that had a stoopid carb amount. I did drain the syrup so I suppose it helped some. I was craving them so whatever.........

DEFINITELY a win. Also well done on draining the sugar water from the peaches. That kind of thing may sound like an unimportant detail but it´s the details that say: "I´m committed to being healthier." That´s what´s going to keep you on track in the long run.
