Yea i did talk to her. She thinks it's because of my carb sensitivity. The way she explained it to me was if you have 2 people of the same weight trying to drop pounds, the one with the CS will have a harder time. It has something to do with the way you body decides to store or burn the carbs you have taken in. She told me she thought this might happen when i told her the nutritionist wanted me to shoot for up to 2800 calories a day. She told me the nutritionist wasnt wrong because if everything was normal that would put me at a 2- 3 pound loss per week. With CS she thinks the body needs more of a push to lose weight. That's why she had recommended about 1500 calories a day. She told me to talk to the nutritionist and let her know whats going on.Have you spoken to your GP about the slower loss?
Which reminds me: do you get drunk more easily now that you're so much lighter?
Not as much fun but yea i suppose it is.Not trying is probably better for weight loss.
Yea its a tough time. He was diagnosed with late onset schizophrenia. He quit taking his meds and didnt tell anyone and i guess it got to be too much for him. Death is a part of life but when someone is with you then suddenly gone it seems to make it 10x worse.Life does get in the way. Showing support for your friend is a valuable detour. Many condolences Rebel to your friend. I don't want to imagine how I would feel losing one of our sons xo

Yea its difficult......Sorry rebel - lost my brother in law a few years back the same way. Glad you can be there for your friend. The world can seem too much but it's so sad to think of what they'll miss![]()
