Re-motivationalization

So...where's this "neked(ness)" that we were promised? I have half a mind to sue you for false advertisement. I also have half a mind. What? That's it. I have half a mind. Seriously, it sucks. I mean, I THINK it sucks, but, I only have HALF A MIND, so I DON'T KNOW!!!

Anyway, I think it's good that you're buckling down and I think it's going to be very beneficial that you started a new journal for yourself. Sometimes change can be a good thing, you know? I mean, except for when McDonald's stopped using animal fat to cook their fries and switched to that healthier bullshit that they use now. Yeah, that change sucked. But, I feel like this change could be good. I need a change myself, so I'm glad I saw this. I needed some "company" in my state of changerosity.

Get a face mask like the gimp and have a friend lock it for you. You are only allowed to open the mask once a day for liquid food and the rest of the day your trainer pokes you in the butt every time you squeal from feeling so damn hungry.

From then on food will be a tortuous memory and every time you want to eat you will remember the butt poke.

The mask must remain until you have lost to your goal. Then and only then does the mask return to your trainer and the butt pokes stop but you will have a video to remind you of this strange event.

Ohhh damn this reallly does sound sick . Oh well !!!! I am verging on the butt poke. and the mask. Or i might tether myself in the back yard and feed on grass and water to get the weight off.

I'm enjoying my nutrition classes, its been good information innundation since the moment class began. I'll share some key points on fats and carbs later today when I have more time but just wanted to check in. I'm feeling better, more energy today for sure. But, I am so ready to go home. I miss my son, my cat and especially my own bed. And, its supposed to snow here today. SNOW. WTF, its not even october yet. I guess thats what happenes when you cross the arctic circle (I think I'm far enough north to say that...).
Tonight, if class gets down early enough and I don't have 3 hours of homework like I did last night, I will hit up the cardio room here at the hotel.
omg, I woke up so damn hungry this morning I had to hit the hotel continental breakfast and made the worst choice possible and ate a bagel with cream cheese. so, no more grains today, that was four servings all in one.
K, my ride to class is here, bbl.
 
I think this is the first time I've been in an early morning college level class and beeen the non-hungover one. Feeling old.
 
In class today talking about Alaska Native Food Systems, very interesting stuff. Not a whole lot of carbohydrates in those diets aside from berries and minute amounts from vegetables. We just watched a movie called My Big Fat Diet about a native community in BC that went on an atkins like diet ommiting a lot of sugars and carbs with positive effects. I'm not a fan of limiting any food group, but thinking about it in terms of cultural traditional food systems it makes a lot of sense as to why diabetes is so prevelent in native populations since contact with europeans. Deep thoughts.
 
Owl nutrition class is fun! I took it as a pre-requisite before I took cooking class in high school. Wait until you learn about the different types of lipids, and the germ in bread..:drool5:

i love reading about types of food, however I hate it when a certain group of food is said to be horrible. like i love carbs and hell its NOT bad for u!! and i aint givin it up! i'm gonna loose weight by eating carbs and thats what im doing!

Lmao, I know exactly what you mean!!! I've been going back to school for a while now and it's true. An 8:00 am class is like walking amongst the living dead. I think most of them would be doing Starbuck's IV's if they could.
 
This week sucked. I havn't been on plan, havn't worked out and drank a gallon of wine by myself last night after nearly getting my ass kicked by my ex boyfriends new girlfriend, because he told her she'd never be as good as me. Men are fucking pigs.
