I had started another thread under phentermine and could never find the darn thing. You know why? Because I spelled phentermine wrong- duh! I just noticed today when I found when I searched for everything I had posted under. So I am going to start a diary since I can't figure out how to change the title.
I started June 29th on phentermine at 236 lbs.
Today, I am down to 223, that includes a week of vacation with my cousin and not eating well. So not too bad. As far as measurements..shoot, I should have copied and pasted those from the other thread. Oh well..

I have also gotten a job, hurray! It wasn't what I was expecting but it will do! Who knows, I might just love it. I think my biggest draw back is the schedule, but it could be worse.

Until next time...

Here I copied and pasted my last measurements: weight was 224 or 225 I think...
calf 17 3/4"
thigh 30"
hips 49 3/4"
waist 41"
chest 46"
upper arm 15 3/4"

Today..
calf 17
thigh 29 3/4
hips 49.5
waist 40.5
chest 44 3/4
upper arm 15.5
weight 222 lbs

Good morning! I went out for a walk and ended up walking 4 miles in 45 minutes, which isnt too bad. It felt good to get out and away.
This morning I weighed: 218.5
calf 17 3/4
thigh 26 3/4
hips 50
waist 39
chest 45
upper arm 15 1/4

i have been really good about walking every day- the first night i just got up and went! i did about 4 miles in 45 minutes..yippee! the next night i did only 20 minutes because i was losing sunlight and i was a little sore. last night, i did almost 4 miles in about 45 miles.
this morning's weight
216.5-- that's a 20 pound loss in a month. i really need to add back my coconut oil every day. it should really help with the weight loss. i am a little hungry today though, lately i just haven't been that hungry, but this morning i am.

If you look up coconut oil online, you will see the benefits of using it. I know that almost everytime I put some into my hot tea, I lose 1 lb the next day. Its great for the metabolism I guess.

Keep in mind this is my first month and you know you lose the most in the beginning. I have been walking every evening in liue (sp) of eating a large dinner. So, I have been having some fruit or salad for dinner and letting it rest for about 30 minutes and then I go for my walk. One night, I just went and ended up so far that I was too exhausted to walk back so I called for a ride. That was the night I walked over 4 miles. I am not a fast walker, but I did a good job that night. I took a night off tonight because I went out to dinner with co-workers and it was too close to dark when I got home. Besides, taking a day off is a good thing and not depriving yourself of eating out or getting together like that a couple times a month isn't a good thing. So, I am doing really good this month, but I expect the next month will be more average. I must admit, if I am not hungry, I do not eat. When I am hungry, I munch on fruit or veggies, keep up on water, and try to do my tea. I think the phentermine has definitely helped with the appetite- I used to be able to eat all day- out of boredom. Now, I am finding other things to satisfy my boredom instead of eating, developing new habits and trying to deal with the stress in my life differently. Additionally, I am starting to look at food as fuel and thinking what does my body probably need? Veggie or a fruit and what kind? I am occasionally eating some protein, usually chicken or fish. Dairy? Maybe once a week or so..but mostly fruits and veggies. I am beginning to listen to what my body wants/needs versus what sounds like it would taste good.

I contribute my eating habits changing to eating more healthier, only when i am hungry and exercising more to my weight loss- not just the phentermine. It has only given me a kick start, just like I had hoped it would.
