At least you were able to get some exercising in, I only got in 25 sit ups the other day. And 20 leg reaches. However, I was able to go out and by some DVD's.

I bought a Cardio work out, Tango and Salsa dance lessons, work out, Ab Sculpting work out, and an Aerobics with Kick boxing work out so I am thrilled and begin them later today.

So, once I am on to talk we can go over a plan for me. And I have been eating the tuna like you suggested. And what exactly is a Boca burger?

Wowee, I wish I was able to exercise like you do! Good on ya for staying in your calorie goals and getting all that fitness time in.

Hey Radiant :)

Looks like ur still doing really well! Dont stress abt the ice cream, slo long as its counted in the cals then its fine! Ur exercise is brilliant too...im only just getting back into the swing of it now and i love the buzz!

Keep up the great work!

xx

Heya girlies!

Beauty - we'll definitely do it! We seem to have very altering schedules, haha. I *should* be home tonight after about 10 my time, but I can't be for sure. It's a floor set at work. And a boca burger is basically just a veggie burger.

Celia! Thanks so much... it's hard to get going some days, but I feel so great after. I actually just got home from the gym. And I set up a training session tomorrow where I am going to get measurements taken and whatnot, which will be good for me as I can feel the changes starting, but my pounds aren't necessarily dropping away yet.

Tink - thanks! I'm not too stressing.. I was in my cal goals for the day and I know that I need to treat myself once in a while or else I'll go wayyy off the wagon later on :)

Blancita - thanks for stoppin in! It feels good to get back on track again :)

Looks like we were both attacked by the ice cream monster yesterday. Only I did it twice and i am pretty sure it did not fit into my cal range. Oh well, today is a new day.

You are one working out maniac right now, aren't you?! Why don't you throw some of the motivation my way. I always feel so great AFTER a workout. It is so hard to just get started. My husband took my car to work today so I have no excuse for not getting in some personal time with the ellyptical.

Have a great day!

Im looking forward to hearing abt the trainer. Im sure it will be great. Nothing wrong with 3 diff gyms, gotta find what you like and what workedc for you, you dont know unless you try!

I say Sex in the City...it was good, Im not sure i liked the fact that she got back with him in the end after he left her at the alter but true love is weird and unpredictable...im certaintly not one to talk...It made me quite emotional, I find as I get older Im gettin more emotional and tear up easier...but it opened some wounds for me, LOL...

Hey guys! Thanks for stoppin in :)

Sooooo I just got home from my training thing. I wanted to do measurements so that they are accurate and not my ones done at home, then she had me do a survey thing, and talked a bit about my work out. (We only had half an hour) So! A lot of my measurements are good for my bone structure, but some certainly need some work. She is making me a print out of all that exact stuff for when I go to work out tomorrow, so I'll let everyone know about it then.

She switched around my workout, so I am now biking first, then doing weights (and I'm only allowed 30 seconds resting between to try to keep my heart going) and then the arctrainer. Also, on the arc I used to go for 25 minutes, starting with a fast 4, walk 1, fast 4, walk 1, fast 3, walk 2, etc. She had me switch that around. I guess the first 20 minutes of a workout, you are burning different types of fats and whatnot, so doing the arctrainer in the beginning, I was working hard and not gaining my max benefits! Silly me!

So I have my workout switched around a bit, and it'll take some getting used to, but I'm going to stick to it!

Now for eating! She has given me a pretty strict routine to stick to. It's one of those six meal a day things, and she wants me to shoot for at least four. I'm going to stick to it as hard as I can, but of course I won't be making everything every day.

Meal 1 includes 5 eggs whites, a whole egg, oatmeal, and 1/2 cup fresh fruit.

Meal 2 includes london broil cooked, brown rice or sweet potato, 1/2 cup green veggies.

Meal 3 includes talapia or grilled chicken brease, 1/2 cupt green veggies, 3/4 cup rice or sweet potato

Meal 4 includes chicken breast, 1/2 cup green veggies, sweet potato or protein powder, 1/2 cup fresh fruit

Meal 5 includes tilapia or grilled chicken breast or salmon filet, green salad with balsamic vinegar dressing and olive oil

Meal 6 includes egg whites or lead turkey or skinless chicken breast, 1/2 cup green veggies

I'm allowed rice cakes (only 2 per day) as snacks.

Now, of course I am not doing to follow this to a T, but I am going to use it as some good suggestions and guidelines and I'll try to do 4 small meals a day.

She also gave me Yes and No lists.

On my no list:
Added salt
sugar
fried foods
cheese
dairy products
pork
alcohol
butter
margarine
regular or diet dressings
fruit juices
junk food

Yes list:
boneless chicken breast
extra lean ground turkey not from the deli
egg whites
london broil
low sodium tuna
fresh tilapia
sweet potatoes
quaker oats
cream of wheat
brown rice
whote wheat bread
green veggies
balsamic vinegar
garlic
onions
extra virgin olive oil
non salted salsa
sugar free maple syrup
splenda
unsalted rice cakes
sugar and salt free seasonings
strawberries, pineapple, kiwi
olive oile cooking spray

Soooooo that no list isn't going to be completely done. I am going to still include cheese... but I will cut back. The dairy in general will be difficult, and the no fruit juice :( but I'll stick to it as much as I can.

Once I get some money (after shopping for my new eating style, I will be fairly broke), I am probably going to sign up for another training session so that I can go around and actually fix up my workout more with her. On the arctrainer, my heartrate is WAY high... 180's to 195ish... so I'm working on getting that down at the moment. I found out that I wasn't actually breathing enough.. so that put it up a bit. Today it was 185 at the highest.. and only during the last 3 minutes or so was it that high! So yay for that. I also want to have more training sessions paid for so that I can keep up with my measurements... probably once a month would be a good goal for that.

That all being said, so far today:

Breakfast:
Bowl cereal
Skim milk (haha, failed that no dairy thing for today already!)

Exercise: 30 minutes bike, 15 minutes weights, 25 minutes arctrainer

Exercise so far this week: 5 hours 10 minutes (310 minutes)

My goodness, that is pretty strict for the food! I found it really interesting that she mixed up your workout routine. it just sounds like your on a great path and I'll be rooting you on! Looking forward to seeing your progress! You've got some great momentum going!

Blancita I'm trying sooooo hard. My scale hasn't moved in about a week though and it is REALLY frustrating to me. I know I'm putting on muscle, but at the same time, I still really really want to lose pounds :(

Celia, I was interested by the mixing up of the workout too, and it's going to take some getting used to for sure. I was exhausted by the time I got on the arctrainer... but I pushed through and only walked 2 minutes more out of my 25 than usual, so I guess that's good.

Jess, I am going to ask her why I can't have dairy! I thought that women were supposed to eat dairy every day... I'm seriously confused on that one.

Snack:
Banana

Dinner tonight:
Turkey burger on a wheat bun
____the burger had garlic and 1/3 tablespoon of bbq sauce in it.
Salad
____Lettuce (duh)
____Cucumbers
____Mushrooms
____Celery
____Balsamic vinaigrette (Holy crap! Only 5 cals in 2 tablespoons. That is crazyyyy)

Calories: 1001 That is NOT ok. I am going to have some cheese even though it is on my no no list simply to get my calories up. I can't believe I only ate that much today and it's really not ok with me.

WOW, all the good food is on the no list, LOL...I can do moderation but not everything as a no...im bad with butter/margerine on my veggies, however though I heard lemon juice is supposta go well with veggies...

1001 cals is a cool number but very low...good luck with your lists and Im not really surprized she changed your routine as our bodies do get use to what we do...and as a trainer she knows how to mazamize your work out...

Hey Cerella! I'm going to ask her tomorrow... especially about the dairy products as I like cereal and whatnot in the mornings! I don't like my no list at all.

So! I asked about the dairy product thing, and she said it is because dairy causes boating, which is good and bad for me I guess. I mean, I'm not going to totally cut dairy out, because I believe it is really great for me, but it is good to know to regulate it and expect a little more bloating on the days I do eat dairy.

I've been following the breakfasts on that plan the most. I bought chicken but haven't really cooked it at all, haha. I've also done turkey burgers and things like that so far. It is actually making me feel loads healthier.

I'm really bummed about my scale moving so slowly. It seems like last time I tried to lose weight, a month and a half in, I had been down 10 pounds! I just don't get it. I'm working out more this time and not eating dorm food. It just doesn't make sense at all and really sucks :(

Sooooooo much drama has been going on here lately. I have my own drama, one of my roommates is having massive drama, and the other some other drama... so I've been helping both of them out as well and it is taking such a freaking toll on me. Ugh. That's how life goes, though.

ha ha ha - take care of you my dear :)!!!I know easier said than done nad bad advice coming from me...the one who doesnt take care of herself...

Hey Pebbles, I agree with you about the dairy - its got benefits. I just try to stick to skim stuff, even though the flavour isn't as great, and be happy for the calcium! Interesting to know it causes bloating (though I doubt it would be noticeable on a frame like mine!)

I hear ya about the scale. I've been eating healthy and exercising for 23 days now, and today the scale said 198.2 again! .8lbs. What a flipping joke (and yes, I'm still in denial so I'm not changing the ticker upwards). Have you noticed any difference in measurements? I've measured some small changes. Maybe your weight isn't going down because you're gaining muscle?
