no. soreness is an indication of over-doing it. DOMS should feel like stiff muscles, maybe a minor ache..but not sore or painful.
take an extra day, make sure your diet is good enough for proper recovery, and if so, tone down your workload next time.
 
Exactly, those pains/aches means your body is STILL in the process of healing. There is absolutely no reason at all to work out a muscle that has not healed up yet.
