Currently been lifting weights 3x a week, full body workout each time, and then doing cardio 5x a week (20 minutes on an excercise bike). I read somewhere that doing cardio burns up your muscle as well as fat? So am I slowing down my muscular development by doing the cardio? Sounds rediculous to me but I did just read that in one of the posts. Another question I had is how I can be 5'9 140 pounds and look decent in the chest, shoulders, arms, ect but have a 32 inch waste with a barely visible top 2 abs... I'm still around 13% body fat and I plan on getting a six pack by summer but something seems weird to me. I'm almost 17 and it seems a little strange that I would have to lose like 10 pounds to have a six pack. Doesn't it sound a bit skinny to be 5'9 125-130 pounds? Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
