Question about the forearm from a complete newbie...

I'm just getting into working out, starting out with just personal, non-machine exercising every day for about thirty minutes to an hour (push ups, sit ups, crunches, curls, and a short run). I'm not really looking to get "huge", just into better shape and more muscle definition. If it makes any difference, I'm young (18).

One thing that bothers me, however, and I have no idea how to fix, is that my forearms are exceedingly skinny, like, skinny enough that I think wearing a watch would look ridiculous. My wrist is wider than an area about 1-2 inches below it - just because of the bones there!

I'm overall pretty skinny, but this area really sets it off, I think. Does anyone know anyway I can "fix" this in any particular way, or will just working out in general help me?

Edit: Also, I'm unsure if this is the place for this... if it's not, where should I go?

Your wrists will grow if you start lifting weights just from holding heavy weights (like while doing shrugs or cleans). Your forearms are easier to put meat on. Here's a good site that shows you some good workouts, by muscle group.
Keep lifting!
