Question about routine.

Hey guys I really only started working out routinely about a month and a half ago. I have seen some decent results but I have never really set a goal and done research to achieve it. I am 21 164lbs and around 5'9.

What I want is to gain some weight, I guess a solid 20 or 21 lbs, and get stronger, I am not too crazy about being supercut, but I would like to have some muscle definition. I am also not interested in just getting bigger and bigger and stronger and stronger forever. When I get to my target weight I would like to just stay there probably.

I stumbled along a website called teenbodybuilding.com. An author there named Derek Charlebois has written lots of stuff about diets and workout plans for bulking and cutting and other bodybuilding type workouts. He has an article about bodybuilding for beginners which can be viewed via this link:

Now like I said I don't really want to be supercut or look like a competition bodybuilder, but I was wandering about if the workout plan he suggest would still be decent just for massing up? I like it because it hits a lot of body parts, plus it isn't too much different from the workout I already do. I typically work out every other day, rather than monday-wednesday-friday, but I don't do legs (which I plan to change). Anyways like I just was hoping some of you guys may be able to look at it and maybe suggest changes that may be more suited for just gaining mass (maybe 5 sets of 5?, I suspect the plan is geared more toward bodybuilding (as the name of the article implies). Let me know what you think.

Also if you guys could tell me if the suggested diet is in order too, that would be great. Thanks.
