Hi hon - the olive bread sounds delicious.

As for what happened in work - ugh, so annoying. That kind of thing would have me rattled as well. Did your manager talk to you about it and give you a chance to explain? Either way, forget all about it and enjoy some country music with your mum.

I'm with LJ on the old country. Newer stuff doesn't strike me, but old country is amazing

EDIT: I feel the need to qualify that I am southern and that old for me is anything before 1995. :p

I'm a Willie Nelson kinda gaaaaal. Unfortunately will mostly be seeing Brad Paisley, who I find utterly repugnant. Reba McEntire, Chris Young, Zac Brown Band etc..My mum will be very happy at least!

The orchestra was beautiful last night. I started crying immediately. Wine induced music criiiies. Was very moving and we were front row. I love seeing how intense everyone is when they play. Makes my heart happy. Calories came in at 1900 but I walked 22,000 steps so think I'm good..

Off to London now so will check in at some point tomorrow or on Sunday when I'm back in my beloved home by the sea! Have a great weekend guys.

The last time I saw classical was a couple years ago - it was "Bold Beethoven" directed by a very enthusiastic conductor. One of the oboe players was standing out of her seat rocking out. It was such a fun show, I need to get to more classical events.

I have only been to one classical show(Andrea Bocelli), back in 2008 & that was because my MIL really wanted to take us all. She paid our airfares, accommodation & tickets to the show in Melbourne. I thought I would hate it, but it was wonderful! Tina Arena sang with him towards the end & it was beautiful.
Front row would have been wonderful Hana. Glad you enjoyed it hon xoxo

That sounds awesome, Cate!

Right, I'm back after my weekend of naughtiness in London. Brad Paisley and Chris Young were predictably terrible but the atmosphere was great, had a few beers, my mum was having an amazing time which made me happy.. was good fun. Went to see "The Girls" in the West End.. based on the Calendar Girls and was just hilarious. Really glad we went. Ate too much and drank too much but was alcohol free yesterday and will be today so will pull it back. Am very content with my 1lb this week.. slow and steady wins the race and I've lost something every week (apart from Iceland week) so I'm going in the right direction, slowly, but confidently!

Week One: 199lbs to 194.5lbs (-4.5)
Week Two: 194.5lbs to 191.5 (-3)
Week Three: 191.5lbs to 190 (-1.5)
Week Four: 190 to 189 (-1)
Week Five: 189 to 187.5 (-1.5)
Week Six: 187.5 to 186 (-1.5)
Week Seven: 186 to 184 (-2)
Week Eight: 184 (0)
Week Nine: 184 to 182 (-2)
Week Ten: 182 to 181 (-1)

Total: 18lbs down since Jan 1st 2017

Well done Sunflower. It's nice to take a little breather, even nicer to be consistent in your weight loss. Hope the week ahead is a good one.

18lbs down since the start of January is bloody awesome Hana. Glad you had a lovely time with your Mum xoxo

Thanks everyone - I'm happy with my pace at the moment. Although, still hoping for 2lbs this week.. would be great to be in the 170's.

12th March

Breakfast: two slices bread with light cream cheese (322)
Lunch: crackers, light cheese (184)
Dinner: gnocci with broccoli, parmesan, shallots and pancetta (562)

Total: 1068

Low cal day after naughty weekend and no steps as wasn't charged - dinner was amazing. Gnocci is super filling and I fried it in low-calorie oil instead of boiling it and it was just delicious! Will def be making that again.

Will check in later lovelies, off to work! xo

<3 Gnocchi. Definitely better fried than boiled :p Frying it in the fat coming out of the pancetta is also gorgeous. With fresh sage perhaps... ngggggh now I want gnocchi!

It's a dangerous place for hungry, dieting people, Rebel. Proceed with caution!

I have eaten a normal amount today so that was nice. Work was dull as dishwater - I hate being stuck behind a desk - ready to go back to my normal team. Social work is about the people I support and I did a 9 hour day and saw one client. Who didn't really need anything. Sure tomorrow will be more exciting.. just blehhhh at the moment. Slept great last night - me and C watched a new TV show with a ton of raunchy in it and then went and had some of our own raunchy and then read Infinite Jest together (he brought a second copy so we can read it at the same time..he's on his third time or something crazy like that) with the cat-babies so I was a happy, content woman this morning. Sex makes everything better (she says, making a sweeping generalisation.)

Anyway. Food logging tiiiime.
