I am going to start posting my experiences here. I already maintain a blog on my home page, but I hope my experiences will help somebody else.

This past weekend my wife and I went to a Bluegrass Festival. As far as food goes, if it was fried, it was there. Blooming onions, funnel cake, chicken strips, catfish, french fries, corn dogs, chicken fried steak; you get the picture.

After all was said and done, I gained 2 pounds after the festival was over with. But, I did manage to add another hole to my belt this morning. I am doing strength training so I know my weight loss is going to be slower, but the inches should keep on coming off.

I started out this morning at 3:35am at 24 Hour Fitness and did about 20 minutes of cardio on the elliptical and did another 30 minutes working on my chest, abs, and shoulders. I weighed in at 215.5.

For breakfast, I had my Xtreme Protein Ice Cream Drink and 3 tune up supplements.

For lunch, I am having a salad with lettuce, radishes, broccoli, carrots, onion, chicken breast, cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing.

For dinner, I don't know yet.

Xtreme Protein Ice Cream Drink? sounds nicer than the protein shakes i used to have!
Im using the carbless protein bars now (they look and taste like chocolate!)
 
Still hanging on...

I hit the fitness club again this morning focusing on abs, arms, and back. I also did about 20 minutes on the elliptical. The way I am feeling, I believe I will start dropping again on Friday. Friday and Saturday are my two days that I work out for 2 hours instead of 1 hour.

Everybody remember to have fun and feel good. I am just feeling wonderful today and I normally don't just do a free-for-all post, but today is different. My wife and I are in the process of adopting a baby that is due to be born on the 16th here locally. The court fees are paid, the attorney is paid, and we are about 2/3's of the way on paying for the home study and the attorney ad litem. I use an energy drink that lasts me all day and is actually healthy.

I FEEL GOOD, NA NA NA NA NA. I FEEL GOOD, NA NA NA NA NA, LIKE I KNEW I WOULD!!!!

I LOVE the enthusiam in here! Feels good! Booy, you start working out early! I am just not a morning person...I was hoping I would be as I get older, both of my parents are. I'm guessing its just not going to ever happen for me!

Congrats on the new additon to your family! Babies are the greatest! *big hug*
