here's my take: are you eating mostly unprocessed foods? no box dinner, microwave dinners, etc?
if so, then don't worry about using a little real salt. you might actually need it.
its when people live off Ramen and pot pies, that their salt intake is already well beyond the USRDA, since both of those typically have at least 50% of your daily allowance per serving. ditto for any boxed dinners, mac and cheese...and that includes Healthy Choice and Lean Cuisine.
