Hi everyone! Welcome to my little space of internet.
I'm boring so I'm going to use the suggested questions, but I'm sure as I update I'll be entirely more interesting!

- What is your current height and weight? I am 5'10 and 265lbs (down from 282 three weeks ago!)
- If you were at an ideal weight now, what would that weight be? Ideally I would like to be 165 (just a 100lbs to go, nbd, right? )
- At what weight would you like to be at four months from now? 225
- Why do you want to lose weight? I'm a mother to an almost 2yo boy, and I want to be able to run with him, and actually fit down a slide! The main core is to be healthy and live a nice long life.
- Do you want to lose weight for a specific life event such as wedding or reunion? If so, when is that event? Nope. Just for me!
- What obstacles could get between you and your weight loss goals? Social issues such as friends inviting me out to eat. Plus I am an emotional eater!
- Why do you think that you now have a weight problem? I've eaten with abandon for two years and after mucking my way through PP depression I've developed poor habits. Couple that with living a sedentary lifestyle, boom, I gain a ton of weight.
- What lifestyle changes do you think would help you lose weight? Sugar is my downfall. Cutting my addiction to it is key. Cooking more meals instead of relying on fast food. We ate fast food at least 4x a week before!
- Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight? Yes. I was big my whole life until I was 22. I got down to a size 4/6 by cutting sugar, cooking meals, and exercise. Then I got pregnant and just ballooned up!
- Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back? Pregnancy, PP depression and laziness.
- What, if anything, has not worked for you in the past in helping you to lose weight? Why do you think it did not work? Allowing some sugar in my diet (not talking fruit obviously) If you give me sugar I turn into the Cookie Monster, just less blue.
- Would you try writing down all food and drink consumed for a given period of time? I'm doing it now!
- Do you cook at home often? If so, what do you cook? Now I cook every night! We are doing the whole 30 (not the toddler though, he loves cheese) so grilled lean meats, roasted veggies and fruit.
- How often do you go out to eat? Where do you go? We did a supersize me documentary, but without the documentary and for longer than a month. I cooked maybe 1-2x per week (so embarrassing!)
- What are your three favorite foods? Cookies, cake, chicken freakin nuggets.
- What are your three favorite restaurants? Anything with a drive thru so I didn't feel embarrassed eating like a pig at my size. (No shame, piggies!)
- What are three things you can do differently when it comes to food? Stop eating fast food and soda. Eat more veggies. Stop snacking all the time!
- If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different? I'd be like I was before I was pregnant. I could run around and not be winded!
- Do you eat when you are not hungry? Yes. I didn't even know what "true hunger" or full felt like!
- Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)? Yes
- Do you hide your food or eat in secret? No. but only because my hubby eats the same stuff (how is he still skinny?!)
- Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed? Oh yes.
- Do you eat as a reward? Yes.
- Do you eat while watching TV or using the computer? Yes!
- What do you normally eat for a meal? everything I wasn't supposed to. Now I eat veggies or a salad with some grilled chicken.
- What type of snacks do you eat? Now I have an apple. Before it was pop tarts and such (why have you forsaken me, pop tarts?!)
- In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing? Now I'm doing walking and aerobics videos. The latter is super interesting with a toddler.
- Where do you go for exercise? A local public gym? School/work gym? Home? Home
- What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise? Chewing? Kidding! (Not really) I like walking, dancing and swimming.
- What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals? My son.
- Do you have rewards for certain goals? Not dying young is kind of a big one.
