poor chest results from weight lifting

Hello All!!!!!!!!! I started a weight program in Feb. doing wts 3x.wk
..I cannot believe how some body parts (legs) have increased in strength while others ESP chest lags far behind.
..
I am looking for that BURN in my chest exercises. I have tried flat bench, flyes and cable crosses..but still no amazing burn like i get doing my other body parts...

what do the GODS of body building suggest..(thats u guys)

i am 42 and in the process of losing about 50 lbs.(1/2 there)
