POLL IHO Merciless's possible brain injury

We all KNOW that after an injury, the best way to get back in the game is to give your body rest and allow it to heal. That said . . .

How badly hurt would you have to be before you stopped working out?

I haven't had any major injuries, but I've justified using an elliptical in lieu of running on a sprained ankle (hey, no impact). And continued lifting, but just with my left arm (and only a little on the right) when I had bad tendonitis in my right wrist. I wonder why it took three months to heal [scratches head]

Great question.

Not only do I love working out, I'm on the powerlifting team as well. That being said, our 1st of 2 meets a year is coming up on March 24th. 3 weeks away. I don't want to stop lifting this late in the game...I want to at least keep up with things a bit. I lift with much lighter weight, and I dohn't feel my head problems anymore.

That being said, if the competition wasn't coming up so soon, and say it was the summer when I have 3-4 months or so till wrestling, and 7 months until the first powerlifting competition, then I would definitley rest up and take some time off.
