Please help me out

uhh well ill tell you what i do now and please give me any tips that you can figure out to make me any bigger

Mon & Thurs(Chest + Tris): I start out doing 4 sets of 10 reps bench presses starting at 100 pnds and going up each set by 10 pnds(5 on each side). Then i go upstairs to my bowflex and do 4 sets of 10 reps of these bench press type things on the bowflex. The weight seams kinda off on the bowflex but i usually on my 4th set get up to all the weight i can get up to on it. Then i do 4x sets of 10 reps of chest flys on the bowflex. Then i move on to some freeweights for my triceps. I just hold the dumbell straight up and bend it towards my head and just bring it back. i forget where i found these or what there called but they work good. I do 4x sets with 10 reps. Then i move to the bowflex do another 4x sets of 10 reps of some tricep exercise and then i do some abbstuff on it after.

Tues & Friday(Back + Biceps): I start out doing shoulder presses i think. I sit on my bench and lift the bar over my head. Doing 4x sets with 10 reps. Starting at 50(with bar) and moving up each time by 10(5 on each side). Then i move to the bowflex do a back type like that doing 4x sets of 10 reps. Then i do a reverse fly thing on bowflex with 4xset of 10 reps. Then i do 2 more exercises to work my lats on the bowflex. Then i do curls with dumbells 4x sets of 10 reps. And then i do more curls with a curl bar with 4x sets of 10 reps. and some abb stuff on bowflex afterwards

Weds(Legs): I do 2x exercises on my bowflex that work my quads with 4x reps and 10 reps. Then i do squats with 4x reps of 10 sets. I kinda go easy on my legs because i had knee surgery and sometimes it hurts a little. But i also take Jeet Kune Do so i know how to kick with them pretty well.

But ive decreased my workouts alot. i used to do a few more exercises with my bowflex but i decided to drop them because i seam to benefit more from free weights.

Anyways im looking to get bigger im going to college soon and im going to have ACTUAL gym access heh so i dont know what i should do. i have never step foot in a actual gym and im kinda nervous.

I train mostly for fighting but i would like to get a little bigger just not to big that its going to decrease my speed that much. Any suggestions would help alot.

I call that an epiphany. you figured out that free weights place more stress on more muscles, and thus its a lot harder, and more beneficial in the long run.

now whats this "i train mostly for fighting"?? are you a boxer/martial artist of some sort, or a thug? :)

when you get in the real gym, there's only a few machinse you should bother with, mainly a calf raise machine, and the cable pully station on occasion.

stick with free weights and compound exercises. as long as you don't eat to bulk up, you won't gain enuf mass to slow you down. but to get stronger, lower your reps, 5-6 reps, 5 sets to emphasize strength rather than 10 reps which is for adding size.
 
ya i love compound exercises i dunno they seam to work the most. and i fight with martial arts heh.
so i should change to 5x sets with 5-6 reps with heaiver weight. and what about the time resting between sets 1 minute?
 
You might try strength training on the Bowflex. I'm not sure what model you're using, but I know the bench models allow you to start the rep a little deeper into the resistance (I have an Ultimate, but I've used my brothers Extreme). If you're using an Extreme or an Extreme 2, You might buy a shorter set of D-handles so you're starting the rep deeper into the resistance. I came from free weights at the gym and have found that the Bowflex works just as well in a strength training routine. I do mainly compound exercises, 4-6 reps to failure, maximum of 7 total sets per muscle group with 2-3 minutes rest between sets so I'm working the muscles and not my ability to recover. I find this works extremely well with the progressive nature of the Bowflex resistance.

Mon-chest, abs
Tue-back
Wed-legs
Thu-shoulders, triceps
Fri-biceps, forearms, abs (I skip arm work every now & then)
Sat-Sun-off
 
i got the bowflex sport heh my ma and dad bought it and im still at home mooching off them for as long as i can while im off from college
 
that's what I did. of course, me going to college was more 'their dream' than mine. not that I regret it.

what I do regret is their total dismissal of me wanting to get into shape in my mid-teens...squashing the idea because it was 'dangerous cuz i was still growing'.
yeah..growing fat....

ya its more there idea than mine, but i got my first job this summer doing computer programming making 15$ a hour. It's better than all my friends that dropped out so im happy. ive been taking jeetkunedo for the past 4-5 years and working out a little bit. Ive just been starting to see improvements on my body now. I still got some fatness on me but im looking to get bigger before i start cutting. I'm at 195-200 now and im 6'.
