Hi there!
I am new to this forum today and have decided to do my own online weightloss diary to try and motivate myself a bit more.
I am 29, I'm 5'9" and weigh 220lb.
I would like to aim to get down to about 154lb or so, although this weight isn't precise as I am going to base my weight loss goal more on how I feel about my body than a specific weight. I haven't got a specific amount of time in which I want to lose the weight, but I would like to lose a big chunk of it for 4 months time.
I have just booked a kind of last minute wedding for 4 months time so I would like to lose some weight for that. That isn't the main motivation for my weight loss, but it is a big one. My main motivation for losing weight is to just feel better about myself and feel happier when I look in the mirror.
I am a student so have a lot of work and studying to do which means I am sat down a lot doing research, etc. Plus being a Mom means I also have to dedicate a lot of time to my Son. My lack of time means it can be hard for me to exercise and eat healthily. I can often end up reaching for a chocolate bar when I need something quick to eat, which I know has to stop if I want to lose weight.
I'm planning on setting aside at least half an hour a day for at least 3 days a week for some kind of exercise. This will be a mixture of walking, wii fit, and yoga.
Also gonna start reaching for fruit and veg instead of chocolate.
I actually started the diet side of things yesterday and already I'm finding it difficult. I actually think I'm a little bit addicted to sugar!
I know it's going to be a struggle, but I'm gonna give it my best shot anyway!
