Hi everyone. My name is Alan. Im 24 and im from New York City. Ive been trying to lose weight my whole life. I think one of my dreams/goals throughout my entire life has been to be slim for once. I was never terrible overweight and have always been 20-40 pounds overweight. Ive always ranged from 165-205 as someone 5'10/5'11. Ive never been able to lose my gut and have never been comfortable taking my shirt off in front of people, even friends. Im hoping that starting this diary to track my progress will help and that you people will give me some encouragement and advice. I dont know how much i will be writing but i plan to post pictures regularly.
Goal: 155-160 lbs or until my gut is gone/flat. Pipe dream is six packs but we shall see.

Please, feel free to be mean and critical if you want...I wont get offended. I get the most motivated when criticized. I would definitely get a trainer to yell at me if i could afford it.
