Hello! Today was the day I started my new change. For breakfast I had a smoothie with kale, spinach, raspberries, banana and a scoop of protein powder. Lunch time I was sleeping because I worked the overnight shift. For dinner before going to work I had a chicken breast and sweet potatoes. After work at midnight I had a yogurt.

I did 10,575 steps, goal is 10,000. I had no soda. No alcohol. I think I did good for my first day. Can do more exercises when not working overnight shift too. Waiting for my stepper to arrive still. My bike should be ready tomorrow. Thanks!
 
Forgot to mention. My starting weight is 290 pounds. This is the heaviest I have ever been. I will post my weight every week.
 
10,575 steps for your first day is awesome! Off to a good start both exercise- and foodwise.
 
Day 2. Smoothie for breakfast. Chicken and sweet potatoes for lunch. More chicken later on and a salad at work. 10,146 steps. Met my total step count again. No alcohol. No junk food. Thanks for your support!
 
Happy Birthday!!! I hope you're doing something else to treat yourself since you're avoiding the junk food. A good workout, perhaps :).

Thanks everybody for the birthday wishes. OMG! What a birthday i had. I got a special birthday present for myself. Never thought it would happen. I went to a car dealership and was approved for a brand new car!! I got a 2016 Hyundai Elantra. I am so excited! I really needed a new car too. A great birthday present!

Day 3 yesterday i did go over 10,000 steps again. Ate healthy foods again. Chicken. Veggies. More water. Yogurt. I can feel i have lost some weight. But waiting until friday to weigh in. Thanks everybody!
 
Wow. I guess nobody wanted to reply yesterday about my exciting news on the new car i got on my birthday. That is fine. Did not get my 10,000 steps in today. My stepper thing arrived today so now i can start on that. Thanks.
 
This isn´t my day-job honey, I wasn´t even online between your first and second post. That´s life! Still: I´m glad you got yourself something which excites you and kudos to you for eating healthy on your birthday.
